  I don't even know where to start. This place has given me the WORST experience. This school is dark and gloomy, and especially unsafe at night. The financial aid office lost my personal info and sensitive documents countless times. I had to sit out for two semesters because they did not process my paperwork and in turn I did not receive aid to attend school. Cashier staff is extremely miserable and disrespectful. I do not understand how the staff is hired but it's like they recruited the absolute most miserable people. The front desk staff is great but the line is absolutely horrific. I've waited hours in line just to wait a few more hours to see a counselor. Traffic to and from this campus is terrible as the location is on some beat down path in some trashy neighborhood. I finally completed my degree here, and once I did, they notified me of a new outstanding balance in my account. I was not notified until I tried to send my final transcript to my new university which requires my final transcript in order to attend. I was never clarified on what this new balance was for, after it just randomly appeared on my account. I tried to pay online anyways, as I needed it ASAP for this semester at my new school. My account was locked. I called the school FIVE times in one week, each time I was told that they were unable to help me. How is it that not ONE person could unlock my account for me? Even called the on-campus IT and was told that they could not help me. Every phone call made also took about an hour after waiting on hold or for the call back assist that calls you back 30 minutes later than your requested time. I relocated hours away for my new school and was told that my only option was to come back to the campus and pay the due. They would not take my payment over the phone. They nearly made it IMPOSSIBLE to pay. I had to ask a family member to take off of work to go and pay this due. Once they arrived, they were told that the cashier office only accepts cash. Are you kidding? Who carries hundreds of dollars in cash? That's an unsafe and sketchy form of payment. After paying the balance, I called to assure that my final transcript was sent out. Low and behold.. the woman tells me that my request was cancelled and that I must order and pay for it once again and that I will receive my payment back for the first transcript in 60 days. So because of their mistakes I must pay the consequences. I contacted the dean and still have not heard back. I am disgusted by the way I've been treated over the last two years at this school. I attended this school because it was close to me, but if you are seeking this college, hear me out and take yourself to a different school. This place is a corrupt nightmare. They make up charges in your account to pay for their own debt. Look at the other reviews, and if they do not put a bad taste in your mouth you can scope it out for yourself and see how truly unorganized and fraudulent this school is. Understand that I was once a student here and I would not wish the inconvenience and stress this school has brought me upon anyone. The president of Hillsborough Community College was also arrested for DUI last year. How ironic! This place is surely run by a professional. Stay AWAY from this place.
