  I was taken to this service center via a AAA tow when my vehicle broke down unexpectedly. The service center was prompt, clean, and efficient at getting me back on the road again earlier rather than later. These are the only reasons it gets a two start instead of a one star. The reason this is a two star rating is because I feel lied to.
  
  I was told when I got there that I needed an new alternator and battery. I drive a Cadillac, needless to say nothing is cheap to repair. I told them no to the battery as it was under warranty at another facility. They agreed to replace the alternator as long as I drove straight to the other facility to have the battery replaced so this "bad battery" did not damage the new alternator.
  
  I went to the other facility as directed. They checked my battery and there was nothing wrong with it. Nothing.
  
  So was National Auto Service lying to me and trying to make more money on my already costly repair (a battery for my car is around $280 just for it, not the install), or did they make a dire mistake in the diagnostic process? I'm not sure which. Thankfully I told them no to the battery regardless and had it checked elsewhere.
  
  Now my question is, was my alternator even bad in the first place? Something was clearly wrong because my car broke down, but could it have been an easier fix than what was charged? I'll never know, but I know I will not recommend this facility to any other person unless you have no other options.
